I work at DFS with amazing folks.
Before joining DFS, I was a YC backed founder and prior, worked with some really cool folks at Carbon, McKinsey, TeamApt, Interswitch, VConnect and Jobberman.
In my life outside of work, I spend almost all my time with my family, lego bricks and walking.
People are the most important part of my life, even when they don't know me. So here I keep a list: friends working on stuff I really like, really cool folks, and people I admire, at the very least.

This is the 6th version of this site and maybe the 4th version to actually make it live. Things have changed so much in the world between my first website and now.
I work at DFS. That's a huge chunk of my daily life. I'm pretty confident it's my last job. I'd only leave to work for my wife or myself. Before that, I worked at a few other places doing stuff I'm really proud of. To the disappointment of friends that love me, I didn't make a ton of money doing all that work though. To add to their disappointment, I'm not bothered about it. I'm sorry Joke and Yomi 🤭🤭🤭.
So what do I do at DFS? To be honest, anything that needs to be done. I'll write code, fumble a spreadsheet, dig into Figma, help out with research, source companies, diligence companies, invest in founders, support founders and attend conferences/events. All that has become more interesting now thanks to Anthropic (yes I said what I said. If you don't agree, give me free tokens.) Well, all of it but the one I struggle with the most, conferences/events. I'm okay with one-on-ones but terrible when it comes to large groups.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time daydreaming and thinking about creating a better Nigeria. I hope to start acting on some of that thinking very soon. I also try to have a life with people I love, friends, my son and my wife. Speaking about my wife, she's amazing and you should check out her newsletter.
I do laugh a lot, except when I'm alone - for obvious reasons. It's my response to everything, if you're not my friend, my son or my wife, there's a very high chance I'm laughing a lot when speaking with you - because I'm nervous. Don't fret. It'll pass. 😅😅😅.
